How to configure the workspace window

For no reason that I can fathom, my workspace came up today with the "Workspace" panel set to full screen width.  If I put in in "Docking View", then it refuses any attempt to resize to the left side as I want.  If I place in non-docking view, then, of course I can resize, but my source files overlap, etc.

This should be such a simple problem, but, as usual, there is nothing that Microsoft can't make complicated.

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance, Rick

Float the workspace window by pulling it away from the top edge of the IDE window. You may have to pull it nearly to the center of the screen. Then you should be able to re-dock it on the right edge.

If the window gets too big when you move it around and it's just not cooperating with you then press the ctrl key while moving the window, you can then resize it to the size you want and move it to where ever you want without it expanding on you.
