If I understand the question correctly, you want to turn some square edges into corners? You need to use a graphics editor. The most popular graphics editors are Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks. Tutorials explaining how to create rounded edges for each editor are listed below;

Adobe Photoshop - http://www.allwebdesignresources.com/webdesigntutorials/webdesigntricks/stretchableroundcornerscontentbox.html

Macromedia Fireworks - http://www.katsueydesignworks.com/tutorials_corners.htm

N.B. Both of these tutorials suggest placing the finished images in tables to present them on a web page. This is not the a valid use of HTML - tables should be used for tabular data only. CSS should be used instead to position the rounded edge graphics correctly.
