Hi Everyone:

I have recently purchased a new Lexmark 2400 Series Printer.  To my surprise, the cartridge bay never centers for the installment of the new cartridge which came with the package.  There is not any reference made within the troubleshooting section of such a problem.

Since I removed several different strips of tape which helped secure different areas of the printer, I am wondering if it could be locked in that position.

Any help regarding this post will be appreciated.

         Thank you

         George

George, if all the locking tape is removed, it should come to the center.
from their pages :

Hi

It was a mechanical defect in the printer itself.  As such, I went ahead and got a different one, Lexmark 2400 Series with less features such as being a copier and scanner.  I really did not need all of this extra stuff the defective printer offered anyway.

Thanks for the quick followup to this concern.  It is now resolved.
