Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003

Hi,
I am supposed to start upgrading Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 for one of my customer. Exchange 5.5 is not in Windows NT but in Windows 2000. What is the best and recommended approach. Any articles from MS with step by step procedure will be appriciated.
