How can I make Outlook Express the default email client? In IE browser, if I click file, new message

I get a message with Microsoft Office Outlook saying " No profiles have been created. To create a new profile, use the Mail icon in the Control Panel.  Please give instructions. Thanks.

Greetings, sheana11 !

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs. By Email, select Outlook Express. Click OK. Close IE. Reboot computer. Now OE should be your default email client.
