What does the following statement do for the AJAX code that follows?

<ajax:select
  baseUrl="${contextPath}/dropdown.view"
  source="make"
  target="model"
  parameters="make={make}"
  preFunction="initProgress"
  postFunction="resetProgress"
  errorFunction="reportError"

You are using AjaxTags which is used for JSP, not JavaScript.  I think you should ask this question to be moved to Java Programming Topic Area.

You are absolutely correct, accidently posted to Javascript.  Can this be moved to JSP?  Thanks I808237
