Cannot install Transition Pack on SBS 2003
Hello,
Our server has been through alot of issues from sharepoint not running, alot of unresolved issues on best practices analyser and being unable to install SBS SP1. The server was reinstalled and SBS SP1 has been installed successfully but we still can't install transition pack. The error says "please install SBS 2003 SP1 before proceeding with the installation of transition pack".
The SP1 was reinstalled twice but we still have the same error. Please what can be the cause of this?

Yes all 5 components of SP1 were installed succesfully. But as you rightly said, it seems we haven't been able to fully install SBS SP1 because the transition pack has now been installed, yet companyweb is still down even though sharepoint service is now running. Please what can i do next?

Yes my team strictly followed the instructions to install the transition pack.
Well my colleague sent a mail with the error message and error log to microsoft help & suport center, and we were told to download a fresh copy of SBS SP1 (5th download) and install it before re-installing the transition pack, which worked thankfully.
As for the companyweb not coming up, i had to remove and then extend/upgrade virtual server on the sharepoint central administration page using article 829113 on Microsoft's KB site.
Thanks alot...
