repair jpeg after recover

i had a ata hdd with data ( jpeg). I made a ghost from another hdd on it so i erased everything i had in there and i put other data. i used easy recovery in trying to recover the previus data ( some very important jpeg). I recovered them but i cannot open them as they appeared as corrupted. I tried to open and save them agian with corel, photoshop but nothing works.
Please help!!!!!!!!
