Help me find a good DirectX book.

In a couple weeks I will have mastered the C++ language. My next step is to learn DirectX so that I can make games, ideally 2D action games and RPGs. I am also working on a major project - an MMORPG, for which I already have developed a map editor and items manager for. All I need is to learn DX...

Can anyone suggest a good DirectX book that suits my needs? I am already a skilled programmer, and I already have an ok idea of how the dynamics of my games will work, but I know I cannot start them until I learn DirectX -- which I currently know almost nothing about (accept for what I have read about it). I want a book that teaches a little more than just noob stuff. I am looking for one that teaches lots of advanced concepts. I don't care about cost.

Don't cheat, please -> only suggest books that you have read or heard were good directly from a friend (i.e. I could just pick a random book from a Google search myself...)

I need to know the arts of adding sound to my games, a topic which is seemingly not covered, according to the customer reviews. I also need to learn 2D graphics, how to use input from the keyboard and mouse, and I would like to learn the basics of the networking aspect of DirectX.

I found a book that I chose to buy based on the reviews and what I seen that the book thought. I couldn't have found it without you referencing me to Amazon, and I saved 94% on it by buying it second hand (and yet still in mint condition). Thanks.
