placing animated .gif on form

hello experts, please tell me which control do i use to place animated gif (.gif) pictrue file on the form.
i tried it by using image and picture box controls, it appears but without animation.
please help.

Although the webbrowser control is commonly used to play animated gif's in programs it is not really a good solution, it is a top-heavy control and can add upwards of 20Mb memory overhead to your application. There are many other controls designed just for playing animated gif's, a simple google search for:

Animated Gif Control

will give you some idea:

iHas such a control that is just one "freeware" option.
