restart your veritas services, what account are you logging on with to use veritas?<br />
<br />
check NTBackup and see if it picks up the tapes, you may also want to whack a cleaning tape through the drive<br />

Ok... I'm going nuts... Everyone says this software is the Best! Well Its the most complicated bloated junk I've ever used.<br />

I got this installed and Can't delete any Media nor any logs or any locations. Nothing!!! And on top of it I can't backup anything because everytime I stick a tape in the drive it spits it right back out and tells me it not the right tape!!!! What right tape??? the tapes are new I unwrap them before I stick them into the server.<br />

All I want is to delete this mess which it will not let me.<br />
<br />
All I need to do is backup F drive, Exchange, SQL and web sites. I don't need some software that takes a college degree to run. Just something Simple! <br />
