How do I disable a system Lockout password from a Treo 700P

I have a Treo 700p and I'm using goodlink email to retrieve email from an exchange server. There is a System lockout password that I cannot disable. I can change lock password from 1 minute to 1hr, but cannot disable it. Anyone know how?

Thanks

I look at that link and when I click "security" it get the message "your organization policies require the password and security characteristics to be set through the "lock" preferences from within Good messaging"

If I go into the lock option in good messaging, it tells me "password lock" enabled and I only have a choice to change password and change the timeout. How can I change this policy on the Treo itself.

Thanks

Free Tool: Subnet Calculator

The subnet calculator helps you design networks by taking an IP address and network mask and returning information such as network, broadcast address, and host range.

1) Delete your password
2)ifg you have an App called Wireless Sync,  there is a Security function. See if there is a password set there. If so, 'unassign' it and see if your issue is resolved

I just check it and password says --not assigned--. I think this is set through a policy on the Treo.

1. Tap the Security icon in the Applications menu. The Security screen appears.
2. Tap Assigned in the Password box. The Password screen appears.
3. Enter your current password.
4. Tap Delete. The Password is now deleted.

IF theres no password then it wont query you
