Archive process

My question is I have windows 2003 file server with that server I want to have archive system. Archive process must be reasonably simple and straightforward and Archive must be easily searchable & convenient for file retrieval. Please some advise.

don't know of much inbuilt that can do this but there are plenty of 3rd party appz that will
