Accounts and Privilege Sets

Running Filemaker 8 Server Advanced

I have a database that performs a login script upon open.  The database has several accounts with several privilege sets.  As an example, User1 has full access privilege, but User2 has a custom privilege set, call it custom.

At the beginning of the login script, I have a dialog box display the account name and the privilege set and when User2 logs in, it correctly displays User2, but the privilege set is set to [Full Access], NOT custom.

The only active account that has [Full Access] privilege is User1 and Custom is the only privilege set assigned to User2.

What am I missing???????  Thanks.

the way you explain it, it's just impossible...
user2 is obviously linked to the wrong privileges set.
are you using the fm internal privilege mechanism, or an external server to handle it?.
is the guest enabled? if yes, what privileges set for him?
if none of these is a good idea, I am interested to see the file if you can post it...

I'm using the FM internal mechanism.
The guest account is enabled for data-entry only (so I can have people get to it from the web)

If you'd like to take a look at it, I'd be happy to email the file to you, but do not want to publicly post it.  I'm at dspace@mbl.edu

eh, eh, that's another round at the pub!
you set the login script to be executed with all privileges! therefore the user has full access during this script execution!
just in case: in scriptmaker, edit the script "login" and uncheck the 2nd flag at the bottom.
and off I go...
