I have an avaya IPO one of my user's voicemail is not functioning properly. Whenever the user is on the phone. The call rings once then the call gets routed to another person's phone( who is both ext 401 and ext 0)  I need the 2nd call to keep ringing. and if the user does not pick up the phone it needs to go to HIS voicemail. what options do I need to look to enable or disable that may be screwing this up? I have other users there and there extensions work good.

I am not sure if this will work for an IPO but this is how i would do that in the Avaya Call Manager.

You could try making both users a member of a "cover answer group" and then change user1's first point of coverage to the cover answer group number instead of user2.  You would then have to setup the cover answer group extension in the voicemail system to be a secondary number for user1 so it will cover to his voicemail after ringing both users simultaniously.

hope this helps.
