What operating system are you using? If its a Mac, it sounds like a common pre-OSX issue. You just need to go into the system folder, find the preferences folder, find the Quark preferences file, and trash it. If its OSX (or PC), I haven't encountered it yet and honestly don't know where the preferences live. (In OSX, there is a 'preferences panes' folder in the library, but it doesn't appear to have the same type of contents as the pre-OSX preferences folder). If its a PC issue, I can't help.<br />
