Sending Files via FTP

I have to transfer some a file to another system using FTP. How to do that? How can I connect to that system?? And How can I locate the path.

Use jakarta commons ftp. What do you mean by 'locate the path'?

i'd suggest using commons

That's probably the best choice. I have to warn you though that in the case of a timeout, there's no fallback. You would have to start from reconnecting.
