senders email address rejected by the server

hi there i am receiving this error message when ever i try to send mail from home pc to my work place using my ISP (AOL LOL)

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was"tester@tester.co.uk'. Subject 'Re: Hello', Account: 'www.blahblah.co.uk', Server: 'smtp.uk.aol.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 INCORRECT DOMAIN IN MAIL/RCPT COMMAND', Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

i deleted my genuine email address from the above message obviously, is it just the case the the AOL server is not recognising the email address or is it a lot more complicated sorry im not to up to date on email, any help would be appreciated
cheers
brian

Greetings, stonerose !

Verify that you can send from other email services.  Verify that you can send with other email addresses.

Check if the email address in AOL account setting is formed correctly.  Make sure there is no extra character.   Delete the address and recreate it.  Have you been able to send with this setup previously?

If no joy, then check with AOL tech support why they are rejecting your email address.

Best wishes!
