I have upgraded to outlook 2003 from 2000 and?
I have upgrqded to outlook 2003 from 2000 and all seems ok apart from I cant see all my inbox.
There appears to be allot missing from the inbox and sent items?

No just done an upgrade of office from 2000 to 2003
The outlook option was greyed out but it has upgraded it

You may still be using Outlook 2000. In Outlook, go to Help > About. What version do you see?
Go to Tools > Options > Mail Format. Disable MS Word as editor. Click OK. Close and reopen Outlook. Test.
Make sure you have the latest update for Office 2003. It is up to SP2 and hotfixes.

In the inbox there was a folder called Alan@Galleons which was there but now seems to have disappeared.
All else is fine but this one folder

Check if the Alan@Galleons folder is in other folders.
Make sure all messages and folders are view in the Inbox.
You may need to repair your PST file.

ok sorry mate, just so you know there were errors on the files but he still claim the folder called Alan is missing.
It was there before the upgrade? any ideas where this could have gone?

Alan was an in box for one of his accounts, cant find it anywhere...?

By "upgrade" you mean uninstall Outlook 2000 and install Outlook 2003. Use the Import Wizard to import the emails from the old installation. Go to File > Import and Export.
If no joy, what emails are missing? Check that you are not seeing some filtered view. Go to View > Arrange By > Current View. Make sure Messages are selected.
