MacBook Pro - Adobe CS2 cant open 2 programs at the same time ?
Have a MacBook pro laptop - for some reason, now I cannot open both Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop or any other program at the same time. Let me specify, you can open them, but you cant work in both. No error message pops up it simply closes out photoshop.
Its a 1.83 ghz processor, running 512mb ram and its Tiger OSX 10.4.6 version software - any ideas ?
Is is somthing in her preferences ? Do i need to re-install adobe ?

We ended up calling in our "mac" repair guy and apparently what needs to get done is an archive and re-installation of the software. There is some sort of a conflict with the OS and the Adobe programs so you have to roll back the OS to a previous version. Since, apparently, you can't just roll it back, you need to archive (?) unintstall, reinstall the OS and not do any updates, then reinstall the software. This has been a problem with the new macbook pro's with the new intel chip - according to him. We actually have another new Macbook that is experiencing the same issue.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
