Here's the situation. We need to restore up to 26 DLT tapes containing 400GB data each, then search every document and file (including looking inside Word/Excel) for particular Keywords. We have 3 servers and 3 tape drives available for this process, which must be done ASAP. We were thinking of having the servers do restores, moving the data off to 3 workstations, then searching the files so the restores can run uninterrupted on the servers.
Has anyone done something like this before? Open to ideas/input. Thanks.
