I have what I believe will be a simple question to answer...

From the Exchange server, how can I check the size of users mailboxes?

Guess that would depend on which version. For exchagne 2000
open system manager > Admin groups > ur domain name > servers > ur server> First storage group> mailbox store > mailboxes

open system manager > Admin groups > ur domain name > servers > ur  exchange server> First storage group> mailbox store > mailboxes.
than go to view ->add/remove colums ->choose storage limits
