Security: The requested template has been denied access to E:\CFusionMX7\runtime\servers\coldfusion\SERVER-INF\temp\wwwroot-tmp\neotmp65513.tmp.

cffile: upload, when run gets the following error:

Security: The requested template has been denied access to E:\CFusionMX7\runtime\servers\coldfusion\SERVER-INF\temp\wwwroot-tmp\neotmp65513.tmp.
The following is the internal exception message: access denied (java.io.FilePermission E:\CFusionMX7\runtime\servers\coldfusion\SERVER-INF\temp\wwwroot-tmp\neotmp65513.tmp read)

So it seems it can write the file, but cannot read it ??

I added an entry for this folder in sandbox giving it rights to cffile ?? with permission to all tags and functions.
The win 2000 server folder hase read write permissions for everyone.

Could this be a JVM policy issue. Maybe coldfusion.policy. File look good to me compared to our dev server. I think we just applied patch to 7.1

Does it work with SBS Turned off?  Some issues when using Sand Box Security -- one relates directly to CFFILE and talks about setting up permissions on other folders:

There's also some talk here about setting up perms for SBS when using CFFILE:

Stupid me, I was trying to set up the temp dir with permissions instead of the file tab in the sbs app. Thanks for the pointer to known issues. That fixed it.
