Hello,

although I don't have visible performances drop or other strange issues, I am quite sure that this computer is infected; symptoms include:

a) Mcafee unable to update, tells me that it can't find an Internet Connection;
b) Sometimes, my Internet Connection connects by itself;
c) I saw the conime.exe file in my process list (and killed it promptly)

My copy of Mcafee since unable to detect anything. Could you suggest a good free or shareware antivirus to try before buying?

Thanks a lot.
