Event id 7 sourk disk

Hi have windows 2003  server with sp1 and getting event id 7 source disk
 recently i had blue sceen and server was restated with event id 6008
and idea ?
Event Id: 7

Type: Error
The device, \Device\Harddisk0, has a bad block.

I had seen ms article 817755
but looks for win nt 4.0 and suggestions ??????????/

1.    Stop - ensure that you have a good backup!
2.    Check that SMART is enabled for your HD - Any warnings?
3.    Run scandisk, if OK continue to use HD, if not, then time to replace, and reinstall:)
