Sony Vaio Mini Laptop (PCG - 600MX) Dead.
HI
I have a really nice little PCG-600MX Vaio - in daily use (sits on my desk on charge in the day, take it home and use on battery at night).
This morning was working fine on the desk (on charge as usual).
Left desk for a while and on return it was switched off, and will not switch on again.
No lights, no sounds, no nothing -blank screen - completely dead.
Have tried holding the ON button down, removing the battery, removing the AC power etc - but nothing - just as dead as a doornail.
What is it most likely to be? and is it worth fixing ?
Thanks
Matt

You said no lights at all.........
Does it have a light to indicate it is getting power from the AC adapter and if so is that light coming on when it's plugged in?
If you have such a light and it's not coming on then the AC adapter may be the only problem.

Hi
No such light exists.
In any case, the battery is fine - and holds charge for 2-3 hours usually, but it is just dead - full stop.
Usually it would work without the AC adaptor - but now just nothing - won't switch on or anything.
Thanks so far.
