Hello,

I am trying to create a VC++ console application.

In my porpoerties dialog box for for the project and in Linker\Input I specify the additional dependencies as

"C:\Program Files\Lemur\Lemur 4.3.1\lib\lemur.lib  "C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftVisualStudio8\VC\PlatformSDK\Lib\wsock32.lib

However, I get the below error.  Can somebody please tell me how to fix?  I am new to VC++.  I am using 2005 Professional.

Thanks

Error      1      fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'C:\Program Files\Lemur\Lemur 4.3.1\lib\lemur.lib  C:\Program.obj'      LemurTest2

Actually...I took out the path for wsock32 and I now get the following error:

My aditional dependencies look like this...

C:\Program Files\Lemur\Lemur 4.3.1\lib\lemur.lib  wsock32.lib

Error      1      fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'C:\Program.obj'      LemurTest2

Thanks....

1. Check if you are missing the ending quotes

"C:\Program Files\Lemur\Lemur 4.3.1\lib\lemur.lib" (this one)

2. Check if you have library lemur.lib in the right place

3. You can just give the library names
i.e lemur.lib wsock32.lib

In Linker->General give the directory name for library lemur.lib if it is not found in the Tools->Options->Projects->VC++ Directories->Library Files.

You need not give the full path to wsock32.lib as it will be in the Tools->Options->Projects->VC++ Directories->Library Files.
