Tablet PC - Where do I start on this repair
I may have a tablet PC coming in for repair soon. I have worked on many laptop and you know they are difficult enough. I have my A+ and am pretty handy.
What are some traps in trying to repair a tablet in comparison to a laptop? Is the XP Tablet Edition of Windows much different from normal XP. Do I get into BIOS, device manager and safe mode in the same way, for example?
Do I need the 'pen' thing that came with it? Is the pen thingy going to be attached? How I long for COBOL.
The customer doesn't care that the machine may still be in warranty and she is impatient so is bringing it to me. (scarry)
I've only seen them in pictures.
