What's a good alternate to Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control (dtpicker) on tabular datasheets?

I have a data/time field for users to update.  In single entry form mode, I always use the MS dtpicker.  However, it's unauthorized in tabular and datasheet mode.  What's a good alternate way to force users to properly load time and date.  Here's my format  hh:mm  dd MMM yy.

Thanks
