Call Of Duty 2 Radiant problem

Yea just wondering if anyone has had any problems like this with call of duty 2 radiant modding tool:

FATAL ERROR: Couldn't create an addtional Swap chain: internal driver error
Get last error()=3
and unrecoverable error has occured. would you like to edit preferences before exiting Q3Radiant?

i have directx 9.0c installed so i don't know what else the problem could be..this error shows up everytime i try to run radiant. anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Which of the rendering boxes have you selected in Radiant Preferences?
Changing the view here often fixes the GetLastError()=3 problem.
Try the setting on the left side first.

ok that did get me a little farther into the program. When i put it on the first setting it will start to load radiant but at the bottom it shows the files being loaded then says:

^1ERROR: image 'image/rock@stonebrick_wall1ext3.iwi' is missing

i don't see how any image files could be missing since it should have installed with radiant. that is on the first setting now the 2nd setting(it seems to change everytime i try every setting) now will show it loading the textures n stuff, but just freezes up in a few seconds, and 3rd and 4th settings don't do any good either.
'image/rock@stonebrick_wall1ext3.iwi' is a COH2 texture file
don't recognise it from the standard game list, did you install any new maps with radiant as well?
best guess based on what we have already is your radiant download may be missing some files which means consider a download from a different site and see if it included there.
