Print Spooler issue

Hello.
I have Windows 2003 network.
3 servers, one of them DC and print server.
4 network printers Brother HL-5170DN.

When printing some PDF files job gets stuck. Try to delete, won't - just says Deleting.
No one can print. The only cure i found is to restart Print Spooler service on the server or restart server all together. I'm not able to delete spooled files from:
C:\Windows\System32\spool\print
I receive message "file is in use".

When i try to restart service, a lot of times it would stop but would not start and after time out, it will say starting and not do anything. All buttons are greyed out. No one can print and i have to restart this server.
So here are my questions.
Is there another way to restart this service?
Is there another way to delete spooled file?
It only happens to PDFs, is there a solution?

What i've done:
1. Increased printer memory from 32 to 160MB
2. Updated print driver.
3. tried different size PDF files (same issue)

Thank you

Mazaraat -> I'll try thatm but it only happenes to some PDF files.

JAy-Jay70 -> Will it completly erase printers and drivers so i would have to reinstall them?
Or only print jobs?
Thats ok, you have enough memory on those printers that you really dont "need" to spool documents...try it
