output a stored procedure in a asp.net 2.0 page

I configured the sqldatasource to use a stored prodcedure when I test query it pulls all the records I need to see. When
bind the sqldatasource to a gridview control or formview control the ASP.NET PAGE is blank. Do I have to define classes for each field in the stored procedure? If so can I get a sample piece of code? If not what am I missing? 500 Points
Can I get the code in VB.NET 2005 Thanks

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to define the name's of the fields that your stored procedure is going to return as the names of the columns of the grid that you are using. ie .. you should create as many columns as you want to get displayed in the grid and map its name to the name of the fields that your query is going to retrieve.
