.aspx webpages not working in MSW2k3/IIS6

   * Microsoft Windows Server 2003
   * IIS6
   * ASP webpages & ASPX webpages

I'm having trouble getting .aspx webpages to work properly.
Yesterday I was getting  this error...

Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable.  Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

I was looking thru IIS & application pool settings......didn't make any changes and then........it started working.
Now today it is not. I thought the issue was in IIS and an application pool setting...not sure.

If it is an appplication pool setting.....what do I change?

Please check the following:

HAve you installed ASP.net version 2 or not if you already installed then please change the application pool of website to version 2 and check.

Please check the .aspx is added or required file is your server is available or not please check through the following steps:

IIS> webiste>select website> properties> Home directory TAB> click on configuration> mappings tab>check the application extensions

.aspx is there or not if yes the check the require file path to click on edit.
It should be c:\windows\Microsoft.NET\framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_isapi.dll

restart the IIS

You can also check with the change version ASP

IIS>website> prperties> ASP.NET tab > select version 2 OR 1 > and then OK

And also check the IIS >website server extension have the ASP.net 1 or 2 is allow
