Print Driver corrupted Spool Svc

I added a printer to my print server this morning and immediately after my print spooler started to crash about every minute.  I deleted the printer but it is still happening.  Can anyone help me out as to how to fix this??

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Make sure that the printer drives for the printer are uninstalled.

Stop the Spool service

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS (look here for any uneeded spool files or files that shouldnt be there)

Start the spool service.
