Export Text file From Image Field in SQL Server
I'm building an ASP.NET application that will allow users to upload files into an SQL Service IMAGE field. Users can then download files that they find through searches, etc.
I want to be able to read the IMAGE data from the database table and if the file is a text file, I want to do the following.
1) Read the file data out of the IMAGE field and export it do a text file on the web server.
2) Then stream in the text file that is exported and show it in a Text Field.
I've got enough sample code to do part 2), but I'm stuck on part one. How can I do this?
