Can't reply to messages with attachments - "Unspecified Error"
Hi All,
Lately, after receiving a mail with an attachment, I am unable to successfully reply after composing the mail. A message pops up saying "unspecified error". I wonder what the problem might be.
If I copy and paste my message in a "new message" and hit the "send" button everything is fine!
I appreciate if someone could advise and help me to sort out this problem in Outlook. Btw, I am using Outlook 2002 SP3 with all the latest updates.
Thank you.
best regards,
Ranjit

Hi war1,
Nice to meet you again!
Well, I cannot scan using Scanpst.exe as I do not have Outlook.pst in my system at C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\! What should I do?
I don't think I have a 2GB problem as my file size is only around 250MB.
Cheers and best regards,
Ranjit

Ranjit, PST is a hidden file, so you need to unhide hidden files. If PST is not in the default folder, did you move it to somewhere else? Do a Windows search for *.pst
