WPA Missing on Dell 600m XP Pro SP2

Reloaded a Dell 600m Inspiron Laptop. After the sp2 update I went to configure the WiFI and there was no WPA. It won't ask me for the Shared key and I can't manualy enter it either.

As mentioned above it is likely a driver issue. Go to the dell site and enter your service tag, then download all the drivers and utilities for your system and OS, and install them.

If there is no option for WPA then it is a hardware issue.
Your wireless card will not support WPA.
Check on the manufacturers website for any updated firmware.
