Can I stop Dreamweaver from creating styles in each page?

I am building a basic site.  I have built a css with different styles and linked it to each of my pages.  They use the styles just fine.  My problem is when I am doing some formatting in Dreamweaver, it automatically builds its own styles in that page.  I am using Coldfusion and including different pages inside of a page. All the styles get messed together when this happens and it just gets all messed up.  Is there anyway I can turn something off in Dreamweaver so it doesnt build these styles and just formats things the way I need unless I use a style from the linked CSS?
