Hidden Floppy drive on windows 2000 Machine

I don't know what my previous administrator did but Floppy drive is hidden on all the PC's.The client OS is windows 2000 and server is windows 2003. We have default group policy  in which Hide the following drives have been enabled which are M,N and O. But "A" drive isn't hidden ,but for some reason I can't see A drive but can access it.When I don't apply this group policy I can see the A drive.Any ideas why this would be happening.
Windows Server 2003

are these the policies you have configured?

Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer    Hide these specified drives in My Computer
Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer    Prevent access to drives from My Computer

Administrative Templates\company name\windows explorer  Hide these specified drives in My Computer

Drives:M,N and O are only disabled
