looking for VPN device
Hello. Right now we have a win2k server we use for VPN. this server is used quite a bit and we would rather purchase a hardware vpn device for connecting to our internal network. as it is, our win2k server has 2 nic interfaces, one with a public ip and one for private internal ip range. Can anyone suggest a good vpn device that will let us connect securely to our network and gain access to our local lan which lies on 90.0.0.0/24 subnet? it would be nice if we could still surf the net while vpn'd into the network.
Thanks!
Thanks!

we can't spend thousands of dollars..i'm talking hundreds :)
You can probably get a good used PIX 501/506 from ebay cheap.. but the re-licensing will cost almost as much as a new box.
If you are connected to a hospital, that means that HIPAA will eat you alive if you scrimp on the security. I'd rather be out $1000 than go to jail.

we aren't vpn'ing intot the hospital :) they are simply connected to our public ip range via dedicated circuits from the local phone company and are firewalled via the 2620 router. so we aren't concerned about security issues with them..we have no access to their internal network and them none to us.

cheap as possible! : )
only 2 or 3 people will vpn..this is small company..very small. i have cisco knowledge. we have 2 cisco's here we use for providing dsl access and another that connects a hospital's two T1 lines bonded with us. also i've been running linux for many years and write software in a few different languages. our inside network is only about 20 computers : )
