Oracle MAX function

I am trying to get the max revision level from a table all in one query. What is the best way to do this?

Orders Table

Orders Table
id     orderrevnum     qty
1           0                  2
1           1                  2
1           2                  2
2           0                  1
2           1                  1
3           0                  3

Desired result:
id     orderrevnum     qty
1           2                  2
2           1                  1
3           0                  3

I tried this:
select id, max(orderrevnum) from orders group by id, orderrevnum

but it doesn't return exactly what I want. Is this possible? Please help.
Thanks in advance.
