No outside email for administator account only???

I have a newly installed exchange server on sbs 2003 R2 with all service packs and updates.

Exchange works fine for receiving email from the LAN, and from the internet for all accounts, except for the Administrator account. This account can receive email from within the LAN just fine, and can send mail to both LAN and internet.... from this account.

BUT - it can not receive outside email.  When a user tries to send email to this account,  they get a smtp rejection - not a valid user.  All other user accounts work just fine.  Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have a look on the exchange general tab of the users properties from within active directory users and computers.  There is a delivery restrictions button.  Is anything set in there?

check the email address tab for the administrator account. Is it the same email address tat u r using to send emails ?

I did check delivery restrictions - there are none.  The email address is present.  The machine actually has 4 addresses listed...

But it must be correct, because I can receive email to  from within the LAN (directly from the exchange server) - but not outside???

My error - the mail was being bounced by a spam filter.  Exchange was fine. Sorry!
I will still give credit to rrsutean and coolwizz for good answers. Thank you!
