ftp connection problem -- 530 user cannot log in
I am trying to open an ftp connection from as400 to pc and I am getting this error 530 user cannot log in. On pc I have ftp services running and granted access to the as400 machine. Any thoughts?

Hi Nick,
I've had similar problems so often that I gave up. I now always FTP from the PC to the AS/400 (rather than the other way around).
It works beautifully every time.

Ok, on my windows server I have setup a ftp share with permissons and also granted access to as400 and another test pc. Here is what see when I try to ftp:

Type choices, press Enter.

You may need to specify a domain when logging into the PC.
