Printing to the same Model of Printer in 2 locations with a single driver.

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 running Windows XP Home.  I travel with this laptop between two cities.  In each city I have the exact same printer setup.  Both printers are Dell 924 all in one, connected via USB.  I want to be able to print to whichever printer I am connected to without changing the default printer every time.  Dell tech support says it is not possible to print to two printers with the same printer driver (using XP Home).  When I connect the 2nd printer the system installs the second driver and I end up with a (Copy) in my printers.  If I delete one of the printers - then it will not print again until I scan for hardware and it installs again.  Any ideas how I can make this work?
