FTP Timeout

I am sure there is a way to do this, but I have not figured it out yet.  I am trying to pull a large file, but it it keeps timing out on me.  How do you lengthen the timeout value of the Indy FTP component?

Thanks

The problem is on the server side.  Some poorly written servers enforce a timeout on the command channel without checking to see if there is a file transfer in process.  There are a couple solutions to this.

1.  Increase command channel timeout on server to something more reasonable.  This needs to be at least as long as needed to perform file transfer.

2.  Using a separate thread, send a command like PWD or NOOP to server during file transfer every 30 seconds or so.  This should keep the command channel from timing out.
