How to cron job an unzip?

I would like to upload a file to my web site and place it in a folder called "My Uploads".
But I need the zipped files to be unzipped in that folder. I would like to have the file unzipped instantly when a newer dated one is placed in there (the zips are all named the same), but I dont know how or if I can do that.
So I think my only option from what I have heard is to run a "Cron job" to unzip the file on a timed setting.
All help and direction is greatly appreciated.

Tintin, I was just wondering why i would need to rename the file Upload.Zip?
if it is names somthing.zip, would it not work still?

upload.zip was just an example name I used.  Just substitute whatever name you happen to use.
