Copy files with Security attributes

I am currently replacing a domain controler on our network. This DC also acts as a file server. What is the best to copy the data files to the new domain controler? I want to be sure and bring accross all the security attributes and share information so that I dont have to recreate the directories and assign all security atributes again.

Thanks for the fast response. Will this command also create the directories if they don't exist?
