my child domain's DHCP service cannot be authorized. Please help me

Hi,

I had facing an urgent situation at the moment in deploying DHCP service in my new 2003 machine under my child domain.

I notice I cannot authorize this DHCP service, each time I try to authorise it, I get an 'Access Denied' message. I read it in Microsoft webapge, notice it still cannot get it work for my child domain.

Can anyone advise me the steps to get it work.

Many thanks

Yes You must install it on the DC. Also you must be a member of Enterprise admins group to do this.

mm i don't know the asker didn't indicate which answer helped him
but i think that Phadke_hemant answer is wrong because we don't have to install DHCP on a DC
