Need to change password of an admistrative account
The network I just took over was established with one admin user that all major services use. The network consists of 20 servers. The account is a DOMAIN, SCHEMA ADMIN ACCOUNT....
Is there any way for me to see what services is used by this account? I need to change this password because someone just left the company that knew this password. I could just change it and see what services fail... not the best approach...

just disable the account - any problems re-enable it
Hi chadd25,
On the server run this
wmic /output:c:\services.htm service list full / format:htable
this will create an HTML file called services in c:\ open that in Internet Explorer and you have the info you want.

ASKER
It is a 2000 domain. WMIC only works on XP and 2003.
You can run wmic from an XP machine just set the node to the server.
