What would be the ideal/best configuration for setting up Small Business Server 2003?

Server would be running all features (Exchange w/ Outlook web access/Sharepoint/WWW/Remote Connect/Routing and Remote Access/VPN, etc...)

A.  1 network card with private ip addresss- server is placed behind router/firewall with ports open/forwarded to server

or

B. 2 network cards (NIC #1 has public IP, NIC #2 has private) - NIC #1 is plugged into cable modem ; NIC #2 is plugged into router/firewall along with desktops & laptops. OR NIC #2 should be plugged into a switch and let Server act as router/firewall?

Thanks for any input...
